PJ leads the Cell and Gene Therapy Core (CAGT core) at Lund University, an open-access core facility. The CAGT Core provides cell and gene therapy tools such as iPSC reprogramming, gene-edits, viral vectors and mRNA to researchers in both Sweden and other European countries. PJ has a robust research background in developmental neurobiology and gene manipulation technologies across rodent and human model systems. PJ obtained her PhD from the University of Melbourne in 2006 and following a successful post-doc at the Institute for Stem Cell Research in Munich, Germany, she returned to Lund University, to establish the CRISPR facility in 2018 and subsequently the CAGT Core in 2022.
