Old Town Walking Tour

An introduction to the main sights of Riga’s charming UNESCO-listed old town. Founded in 1201, the Baltics’ biggest city reveals stories of willpower, courage and resilience.
The tour departs from the hotels – Radisson Blu Daugava, Hilton, Wellton, concludes at Strēlnieku laukums (Riflemen’s Square), within walking distance of the dinner venue and hotels.

An energising orienteering activity enabling new connections and discoveries. Split into teams, participants will explore the old town through a series of fun challenges facilitated via iPad. Those with the best strategy stand to win some city-themed treasures! A great way to warm up for the day ahead.

Enjoy a deep dive into the fabulous and colourful Riga Central Market! The guided tour commences with a walk through the market’s five historical pavilions and sprawling outdoor area to get a sense of the seasonal local produce and other delights sold here. You’ll hear stories of how the place has changed over the years, who shops here and why some stalls are more popular than others. The tour concludes with a Latvian food tasting opportunity.
The guide will meet the group at the National Library of Latvia and travel together to the market by public transport (ticket costs included in the tour price). The tour concludes at the market, within walking distance of the hotels.

You’ll glide along Riga Canal and the River Daugava in classy wooden boats, seeing sights such as the legendary Freedom Monument, Latvian National Opera building, Riga Central Market and the roofs and church spires of the UNESCO-listed old town. The hour-long journey starts and concludes at Bastejkalns Park, within walking distance of the hotels.
A transfer will take you from the National Library of Latvia to Bastejkalns Park, near the boat dock.

Feels like Riga! Riga district bike tour

Your chance to see Riga beyond the old town. The tour will take you to the so-called Quiet Centre, best known for its splendid display of Art Nouveau architecture. Further, you’ll travel to what was previously known as the “Moscow District” to see some of the city’s historical wooden buildings and several eye-catching churches. Riga is wonderfully compact and relatively flat, making it perfect for exploring by bike.
A transfer will take you from the National Library of Latvia to the bike tour starting point.
